What We Mill

Precision CNC Milling, End to End

CNC milling is our craft, not a side offering. Every part we ship is milled in-house by a small team that can tell you exactly what tooling path cut it and why.

Our engineering background means we see manufacturability issues before they become production problems - and we solve them with you, not around you.

  • 3 and 4-axis CNC milling centers
  • Production parts from first article through medium-to-high volume
  • In-process inspection on every job
  • AS9102 first article inspection reports on request

Materials We Machine

From aluminum to exotic alloys.

Aluminum is our daily work, but we are not a one-material shop. We regularly run stainless steel, take on exotic and specialty alloys case by case, and machine engineered plastics when a part calls for them.

If you are not sure whether a material is a fit, send us the spec. We would rather have the conversation than turn away an interesting part, and we will tell you straight what we can and cannot do.

  • Aluminum, from 6061 and 7075 to specialty grades
  • Stainless steel for corrosion-critical and structural parts
  • Exotic and specialty alloys evaluated case by case
  • Engineered plastics such as Acetal and Delrin on request

CNC Milling FAQ

What CNC milling services does UD Manufacturing offer?

We provide 3 and 4-axis precision CNC milling, from first article through medium to high volume production. Every part is milled in-house and reviewed by a degreed engineer before we cut chips.

What materials do you mill?

Aluminum is our daily work, and we regularly run stainless steel. We also take on exotic and specialty alloys case by case, along with engineered plastics like Acetal and Delrin on request. Send us your material spec and we will tell you straight whether it is a fit.

What tolerances can you hold?

We machine and verify to the tolerances called out on your drawing, evaluated feature by feature rather than as one blanket number. If a feature needs a closer look before we quote, an engineer flags it up front.

What production volumes do you run?

We run first article through medium to high volume production, including repeat programs. We can also talk through smaller volume runs, so do not count yourself out. Tell us your quantity and delivery window and we will quote a realistic lead time.

Do you provide first article inspection reports?

Yes. We provide AS9102 first article inspection reports on request, with every drawing characteristic measured and documented. Just request FAIR on your quote.

Are you certified?

Yes. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001 and AS9100. See our certifications page for the details and to request certificate copies for your supplier review.

How do I get a quote?

Send your drawing or model through our contact form with the material, quantity, and delivery window. A degreed engineer reviews it, asks any questions up front, and returns a firm quote with a real lead time.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. We sign NDAs before reviewing your drawings. Mention it with your request and we will get one in place first.
